Lake Kenyir is a reservoir in Malaysia. It was featured in the finale of River Monsters, where Jeremy Wade investigated a report describing the mysterious disappearance of a fisherman and a diver.

A report claimed that a fisherman disappeared mysteriously on Lake Kenyir. The empty boat was reported, and a dive team was called in. However, one of the divers also vanished. The report pointed to the Arapaima as a potential culprit. Jeremy Wade traveled to Lake Kenyir to investigate. He also learned of two other potential culprits, the Tapah, or "Sareng Catfish," and gas bubbles, which can sometimes be released from the lake.

Lake Kenyir is a large dammed reservoir. Thirteen villages were submerged when it was created. No good sources are available as to the exact depth of the lake, or most of its specifications, but rumors state it is deeper than Loch Ness.
