The Amazon river dolphin (Inia geoffrensis), also known as the boto, bufeo or Pink River Dolphin, is a species of toothed whale. They live in the Amazon Basin.

Piranha[]
This dolphin appeared in Piranha as an accidental sighting. Jeremy Wade was in the water trying to feed piranhas but these creatures accidentally got attracted. Jeremy got out of the water seeing the dolphins as a threat.
Amazon Apocalypse[]
This species was investigated but dismissed in Amazon Apocalypse. Jeremy went swimming to see if they would willingly attack a human, but they showed no signs of aggression. Also, their jaw is built in a way such that they are not able to dismember humans.
Description[]
The Amazon River Dolphin is the largest species of River Dolphin in the world. They are pinkish in color, and possess relatively long snouts. The largest individuals can reach up to 8 feet in length and 408 pounds.

- Although they were dismissed suspects, these are the only mammals investigated on River Monsters.
