River Monsters Season 9 was confirmed to be the final season of River Monsters. It ran for six episodes between April 23, 2017 and May 28, 2017.
It featured the Sixgill Shark, Greenland Shark, Needlefish, Goonch Catfish, Papuan Black Bass, and Sareng Catfish as primary suspects.
